NC CHAMP - Regional Data
Due to small sample size for any one year of regional data, data are combined across two years of CHAMP surveys to increase sample size in order to produce regional estimates. NOTE: When a regional estimate is compared to the state estimate it is recommended to take note of the confidence intervals. If the confidence intervals overlap, the difference is not statistically significant. Regional data are reported for three statewide regions in North Carolina: the Eastern Region, the Piedmont Region, and the Western Region. The following counties are included within each region: Eastern North Carolina: Beaufort, Bertie, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Edgecombe, Gates, Greene, Halifax, Harnett, Hertford, Hoke, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, Nash, New Hanover, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Robeson, Sampson, Scotland, Tyrrell, Washington, Wayne, and Wilson counties.
