The North Carolina Health Atlas
The North Carolina Health Atlas contains maps of North Carolina that depict county level health and health-related information. The primary purpose of the Atlas is to provide a way to interpret visually a broad range of data and information about the health of North Carolinians.
Leading Causes of Death
The following maps show the total and cause-specific deaths at the county level. They depict age adjusted death rates for a five year period. Causes of death were coded using the tenth revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10). For more information about these data please see Technical Notes.

Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS)
The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) is a random telephone survey of state residents aged 18 and older in households with telephones.
