*Body mass index is computed as weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared:(kg/ m2). BMI is an intermediate variable used in defining overweight and obesity. Underweight=BMI less than 19.8, Recommended Range=BMI 19.8 to 26.0, Overweight=BMI 2 6.0 to 29.0 and Obese= BMI greater than 29.0

~Low participation was a substantial problem for NC PRAMS in 2011.The overall weighted response rate was 54%.

*** This estimate was suppressed because it did not meet statistical reliability standards

#Use caution in interpreting cell sizes less than 50.
N = Cell Size, % = Percentage, C.I.(95%) = Confidence Interval (at 95 percent probability level).
The percentages shown are weighted percentages, designed to reflect the entire population of North Carolina women having a live birth.
