This report, referred to as The Baby Book, contains tables showing statewide and county counts for 1998 resident live births classified by selected infant and maternal characteristics. This report is prepared and distributed for the use of maternal and child health programs and others interested in birth data.
Instructions for Reading the Tables
Warning: The tables containing The Baby Book data are very large. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, it may take as long as 5 minutes to load a particular county's data.
Because of the way many web browsers render tables, it is possible you will not see anything in your window until the whole page has loaded. There is no need to hit reload or the back button - the data will eventually display.
