The PRAMS Survey
1997-2003 PRAMS Data Tables
The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) survey collects information on pregnancy risk factors, access to health care services, and other issues related to improving the mother's and baby's health. We ask questions about behaviors and attitudes before, during, and after pregnancy on several topics.
From this page you can view:
The graphs are based on 2½ years of weighted PRAMS data from July 1997 - December 1999. The data tables for each survey question are available for 1997, 1998, 1999, the combined 2½ year period, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. Each table presents, in the first row, the total number of women who answered the question, as well as the number of respondents, the weighted percent of respondents, and the confidence interval for each response. The table also presents responses by nine different demographic groups. See the technical notes for further explanation of the information in the data tables.
The questionnaire is provided in pdf format. You will need Version 6 or higher of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to access them. Download the latest version from Adobe.
