The PRAMS Survey

1997-2003 PRAMS Data Tables
The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) survey
collects information on pregnancy risk factors, access to health care
services, and other issues related to improving the mother's and baby's health.
We ask questions about behaviors and attitudes before, during, and after
pregnancy on several topics.

The graphs are based on 2½ years of weighted PRAMS data from July 1997
- December 1999. The data tables for each survey question are available for
1997, 1998, 1999, the combined 2½ year period, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.
Each table presents, in the first row, the total number of women who answered
the question, as well as the number of respondents, the weighted percent of
respondents, and the confidence interval for each response. The table
also presents responses by nine different demographic groups. See the
technical notes for further explanation of the
information in the data tables.
